Lync Conference 2014

Team at standThe second annual Microsoft Lync Conference 2014 took place at the Aria Resort, Las Vegas this week. The worldwide event gathered together the Lync community to learn, knowledge share, network and connect over three days. This conference was dedicated exclusively to Microsoft Lync and supporting solutions with over 1,600 delegates in attendance.    Verba was a silver sponsor and exhibitor at this premier event. The conference focused on technical and business education, Lync engagement and development, and showcasing the solutions of Microsoft’s Partners.Events included Keynotes, Breakout Sessions, Community Sessions and networking opportunities. Cisco Developer Network Business Partner’s Forum Day

CDN DrinksPrior to the start of Cisco Live 2014, Milan, a new initiative, the Cisco Developer Network (CDN) Business Partner’s Forum Day was launched.  The event took place with CDN partners, numerous channel partners, and Cisco EMEA field and Executives, with sessions throughout the day and a partner appreciation networking event in the evening.  The CDN included the participation of Cisco business leaders and channel partners from Eric Law, Director Strategy, Planning & Programs, Paolo Campoli, Director for Sales & Business Development to George Gary, Product Manager of Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM), Senior Product Marketing Manager, John Vickroy.

Our customers who use both Salesforce and Verba have told us that it is quite cumbersome to find call recordings related to the sales activity documented in their Salesforce Sales Cloud. In the first version of our Salesforce integration we are tackling this problem head on.

Today, we are announcing the Verba integration with Salesforce. Using this integration your Salesforce Sales Cloud users are able access call recordings in Verba directly from their Salesforce interface with just one click.


Cisco EMEAR Customer Collaboration Partner Sales Summit

photo (1)This week the Cisco EMEAR Customer Collaboration Partner Sales Summit took place at the Hilton Hotel in Vienna, Austria with sixteen sponsors including Verba in attendance.

Hundreds of delegates including Cisco channel partners from across the region, key technology partners as well as Cisco contact center sales, product management, channels and executive personnel attended the summit. The target audience was sales management and portfolio management as well as pre-sales specialists and solution architects.


Cisco Customer Collaboration Partner Sales Summits

Verba compatible with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1

Great news!  The Verba Recording System has passed the official Cisco compatibility tests with the Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1, based on the Interoperability Verification Testing criteria outlined by Cisco.  The Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) is an enterprise-class  IP telephony call processing system that provides traditional telephony features as well as premium voice, video, mobility, messaging, conferencing, instant messaging, presence and contact center features on a single, integrated platform.


Do You Have a Compatible Partner?

Yin_YangEach and every one of us at some point in our lives are looking for ‘the one’ (unless you’re like Greta Garbo who once famously said ‘I want to be alone’). During this quest, we date people and see what we might have in common… it all comes down to the question of compatibility.

Throughout the dating process, there are a series of  subconscious tests that each party goes through: does the conversation flow? Do you both have the same sense of humour? And so forth.
