The second annual Microsoft Lync Conference 2014 took place at the Aria Resort, Las Vegas this week. The worldwide event gathered together the Lync community to learn, knowledge share, network and connect over three days. Recording Microsoft Lync calls are not as simple as one might think. The Microsoft Lync solution does not provide direct integration points for call recording vendors the way Cisco or Avaya does. There is no single answer for all recording needs, however if you select a vendor, that provides multiple recording options, you will never run into a situation, where you are unable to record everything you need.
Well, it stands for Microsoft Communications Unified Users Group London – a group formed by Unified Communication Professionals who are passionate about Microsoft Lync. The group meet quarterly to share their experience and best practice within the area.

This is a great week for our team here at Verba. After receiving our Microsoft Gold competency, we have just received test results from the Microsoft ISV qualification team. Our Lync recording solution has passed the Qualified Lync Application tests with a 100% record, that is, without failing any test cases.

Last week Verba earned the Microsoft Gold competency in Application Development for extensive experience and skills in building software for Microsoft Platform. Requirements included verified customer references and customer satisfaction surveys conducted by Microsoft. All these are related to our flagship product – Verba Recording System. Only the top one percent of Microsoft partners attain Microsoft Gold competencies.
