Cisco Live 2014, Milan

Cisco, MilanLast week  Cisco Live 2014, Milan took place at Milano Congressi (MiCo) in the heart of the Italian city with over 7,000 delegates in attendance. Hundreds of attendees including Cisco staff and partner technical experts from, Network Engineers to IT Managers and IT Architects to Business Service Managers, attended the summit. There were  a vast array of sessions spanning four programs – Networkers, Service Providers, Developer Network and IT Management. Team Verba were in full force at the event and spoke to numerous delegates.

View of Earth From SpaceNext year, Verba will be touring the world…there are a series of prominent industry events taking place from London to Milan, San Francisco to Melbourne.

The ‘Verba World Tour’ kicks off in the New Year with Cisco Live, Europe in Milan, Italy at the end of January. This is Cisco’s flagship event, covering various topics: Technical Education (hundreds of sessions spanning four programs Networkers, Service Provider, Developer Network and IT Management), Networking, Technology Evaluation and Thought Leadership. It is an opportunity not only to explore new technologies, but also for partners to showcase their solutions. A series of keynote sessions will cover the direction of Cisco and the industry landscape at present.


Cisco EMEAR Customer Collaboration Partner Sales Summit

photo (1)This week the Cisco EMEAR Customer Collaboration Partner Sales Summit took place at the Hilton Hotel in Vienna, Austria with sixteen sponsors including Verba in attendance.

Hundreds of delegates including Cisco channel partners from across the region, key technology partners as well as Cisco contact center sales, product management, channels and executive personnel attended the summit. The target audience was sales management and portfolio management as well as pre-sales specialists and solution architects.


Cisco Customer Collaboration Partner Sales Summits

Keith WilloughbyOver the last few months Verba have attended a series of Cisco Customer Collaboration Partner Sales Summits which offer an invaluable opportunity to knowledge share, discover technical education and training, network and discuss the latest ‘hot topics’.

This year attendance to date has been particularly high,signifying the growing popularity of these summits. Ken Willoughby, Solutions Engineer at Verba attended and was “amazed at the international presence.”

This unified collaboration recording approach puts Verba at the forefront of communications recording.


What is MUCUGL?


Well, it stands for Microsoft Communications Unified Users Group London – a group formed by Unified Communication Professionals who are passionate about Microsoft Lync.  The group meet quarterly to share their experience and best practice within the area.

This month (Monday 15th July), approximately forty attendees gathered in Central London to discuss, digest and debate.  So, what were the ‘hot topics’ covered during this session?


Verba at Cisco Live 2013

Cisco Live logoThe brightest minds in  IT congregated at Cisco Live 2013 in sunny Orlando, Florida last week with an estimated 20,000 visitors from network engineers to senior executives in attendance.  It was a great opportunity to knowledge share, obtain strategic insights, and discover in-depth technical education and training.

As the sun set this year on Cisco Live, it certainly showcased how the pace of technology is rapid, ever-changing and proved to be an insightful event for all parties concerned.
