This release includes brand new functions such as Communication Policies, Content Filtering, and Shared Servers. There are also several additions to expand the functionality of Verba’s current feature set, like new integration options for Compliance Stores.
Organizations in regulated industries record hundreds and thousands of conversations (IM, phone calls, video calls, etc.) and such interactions have to be stored, archived and produced (when requested). Verba has developed an ideal solution.
Let’s take a look.
Key new features in 8.4
The Verba 8.4 Release encompasses the following features:
- Data segregation between countries and jurisdictions – A new function called shared servers allow intercluster communication to store media where it legally belongs. Once calls are captured anywhere in your network, recordings can be moved back to their jurisdiction.
- Relay only deployments for Lync / Skype for Business – This security-focused solution helps prevent P2P traffic between Skype for Business/Lync endpoints to avoid the need for any-to-any firewall rules, primarily to enhance security.
- New Cloud Archiving options – You can now send Verba recorded voice/IM messages to Smarsh and Bloomberg Vault.
